Four Seasons Fly Fishing Guide Service

Providing anglers with quality guided fly fishing trips on the Yellow Breeches Creek near scenic Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, as well as other select limestone and freestone streams across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.Other streams include: Bald Eagle Creek, Black Moshannon Creek, Little Juniata, Clarks Creek, Penns Creek, Pine Creek, Spring Creek and Yellow Creek.

Due to the vast amount of information on the web site, which encompasses a lifetime of fly fishing, I have decided to organize this information into a much more accessible form. To meet that goal I am publishing a book entitled “Creel Zero”. The book contains much of the narrative from the site as well as the majority of the “Flies of the Week”. The book, sells for $24.95 and can be purchased from me by phone 717.713.8282 or A nominal shipping and handling fee will be added to those books requiring shipment.

I thank you for your interest and support over the past years and I sincerely hope you will find the book a worthwhile addition to your library as well as a good source of fly fishing information.

A benefit of fly fishing or of any fishing is the scenery. No, it is not ice on these trees and understory but sunshine
highlighting rain droplets following an impressive spring downpour.

Another benefit of fly fishing is a group of flies that provide a positive outcome when fished in the spring. For example, The Illegal Nymph found
on pages 175-176 of my book Creel Zero.

The Y2K is extremely potent when fishing to rainbow and brook trout. The Y2K, (found on
pages 203-204) on mountain streams is unequaled as brook trout attack the fly.

Little Blue Winged Olives are a staple on many waters in the Spring. Try this fly on Big Spring, Spring Creek and Little Juniata
River. See Fly of the Week for tying specifics.

A tandem of Tan Caddis Emergers provided many hookups on the pressured waters of the
Yellow Breeches. See Fly of the Week link for tying specifics.

The below videos focus on one of my fishing buddies Chet Hagenbarth and my grandson Thomas Giza.
Thomas is coming along with fly fishing and his fly tying skills are impressive
from our YouTube Channel.
